Introduction
From the official product introduction, it is stated that the three main services provided by the app are
-
checking nearby departure and tacking rides,
-
planning a trip, and
-
live directions with “GO”.
The goal of this project is to identify the issues while operating through evaluation and prioritize for redesign. A usability test and user interviews were implemented to investigate the pain points from novice users, intermediate users, and expert users.

Assigned Missions
01
Check the fastest route to a designated destination for now and in 30 mins.
Goal: To understand the operation process of users and the success rate of common mission.
02
Check the available buses from a designated place.
Goal: To test if users are aware of the interface with certain functions.
03
Operate other mission on the phone while live direction.
Goal: To understand the habits of users operating outside the app.
User Interview
Participants were asked to answer post-task questions and post-test questions.
-
Post-task questions: The questions are framed dynamically based on the user to understand if there were any pain points or frustrations that they felt were useful.
-
Post-test questions: The questions are framed to understand the overall usability, look, and feel of the product in the context of the defined tasks.

Reflection
-
Practicing the principles in an actual product helped me build up the application more convincing.
-
The variety of user behavior is larger than I thought which made the user interview more valuable.
-
For redesign cases, I was prone to be restricted by original design. Through systemic analysis, I got to think outside the box.
